This morning we walked to the American Museum of Natural History, via Central Park. We walked past a bunch of buildings with Halloween decorations, and mums favourite was one with a bunch of blue skeletons.
We waited for ages to get to the front of the line into the museum, and when we were 1st in the queue, they told up to go to another entrance on the other side of the museum. When we got there, there was no one waiting, so that was a waste of time.
We had a memership to the museum, so we could go wherever and whenever we liked. So, we didn't see everything this time. We saw a lot of sea stuffed animals and a recreation of the Congo rainforest. We even saw a life size blue whale!
We didn't go anything for the rest of the day. Mum and Maya went grocery shopping and Maya came home with a reds panda soft toy (like number 11).
The next day we walked to a famous art gallery called MoMa. We saw Vincent Van Gogh's Starry Night, and a lot of paintings and sculptures. There was this room that Maya like, with bunches of coloured stuffed toys, hung from the ceiling in balls.
After that, Dad and I went home, but maya and mum stayed and did this craft thing without us knowing. The problem was that we couldn't get back in because they had our tickets.
We just walked home and they came back a few hours later.
