The next morning we hit the road. We were driving for7 hours straight. From Morzine (France) to Cinque Terre (Italy).
Then we had to parl far from the town, as it was built before cars existed, and most people didn't even have one. The walk was super steep and there were so many steps.
We stayed 2 days in Cinque Terra. When we came, I thought it was very steep. Little did I know that it was one of the steepest towns on earth! That was definitely the worst part of the stay.
On the first day, we mainly just relaxed. We also went to the rocks/cliffs and jumped off them into the sea. we had a DELICIOUS mental granita, which is basically a home made slushee.
On the second day, however, we explored the rest of the 5 towns of the Cinque terre. We had breakfast and went for a little dup in the first one (Vernazza), dad also had an allergic reaction to walnut pesto.
The second town (Monterosso) we went to the "beach", there was no sand, just a bunch of pebbles and rocks. Nealy the whole beach was covered in little umbrellas and seats you had to pay for.
The next town we went to was where mum and dad stayed last time (Riomaggiore). It was pretty boring, all we did was get an ice cream (at least we got an ice cream).
We didn't go to the last town (Corniglia) however because it was even steeper than our town, and it was on a cliff. It was a super steep walk to get there from the train station, and that's just to get to the town.
The next day we drove another 2 hours to Pisa, where we saw the iconic tower and I got souvenir coin #12 (I finally caught up). Mum said that the town was "gritty".
Then we drove another 2 hours to a tiny "resort" in the middle of nowhere.
