Today we woke up (obviously) and drove 2 hours to the airport. Then back to Miami, and checked into the same hotel as last time (the reason we always stay here is that there's a washing machine and drier). Dad also picked up the camera case. The next morning we had a swim in the pool and spa, and then fly to Quito, Ecuador.
We were in Ecuador with all my grandparents. Our hotel was an hour away from Quito, but luckily close to the airport.
The next day we went on a day tour of Quito, while grandma and grandpa went to Cotopaxi. We went to the Middle of the World first, and saw a shrunken human and sloth head, a real tomb with a human, and I got souvenir coin # ?25.
We also got to stand on the equator, and luckily, it wasn't a triangle like Greenwich.
We got to stand half on one hemisphere and half in the other. We also stood on the equator, and also goy a stamp in our passports.
Then after that, we drove to this chairlift. Now, Quito is already 2000 m above seas level, but this mountain was much higher, and it was the highest I have ever been (above 4000 m above sea level) and my heart rate reached 191 beats per minute.
Then we went to lunch and it started to rain. So we went to a chocolate tasting shop, indoors. They said that this is the best chocolate in the world, and I was like "yeah, right". The chocolate was nothing special. Then they said the same thing about their brownie too, and I was like "of course it is". Can I just say that it was the best brownie I ever had!
We got back from home, and my other grandparents arrived (the ones from Turkey and Croatia), and our Orange grandparents gave us our Christmas presents. Maya got a kindle, and I got a camera. The exact same present they got me last year.

Shrunken sloth and human head.
