Today, we woke up and instead of having breakfast, we headed straight to the airport. We got checked in and had breakfast, consisting of a cinnamon doughnut. On the flight to Istanbul, the family in front of us, put their seats down really fast. But the person in front of dad couldn't, because dad's legs were so long, that his knees touched the seat.

He kept violently pushing his seat back and forth, and then stood up, and rammed into the seat. Dad explained the problem, and he tried to punch dad. He couldn't speak English so his family was translating. He kept calling the flight attendant, and she suggested that he moved seats. He said I'm not moving, and he made us move instead.

When we finally landed, it was 2:45pm, and our other flight was at 3:30pm. We were meant to land at 2pm, but were delayed. We were delayed AGAIN, because another plane was in our spot. We finally got off at 3pm, and things weren't looking so good.

We had to run 15 minutes to passport control, and another 12 minutes to our gate, with security in the middle, taking roughly 10 minutes. We were all scared we were going to miss the flight. When mum and I got to the gate at 3:50pm, I last round of people were getting on. I needed to go to the toilet. Dad and Maya went in because dad thought we were already on the plane. We tried to check in, but dad had the passports. After a bit of negotiating, the guy felt empathy for us, and let us in. He said he would come to check our passports, but he never did.

After a whole day of flying, he finally made it to Bodrum. My grandpa picked us up in his new Tesla, and we drove 30 minutes to their apartment in the tiny town of Gundoğan.
