Today we got scammed. Here is the story.
We woke up, and drove 10 minis to the Tulum ruins. We got pulled over by the random people acting like the official guides. They said entry was $22 US (about $31 AU) per person. But the practically convinced dad to go on the $170 tour, there were like, "pay extra to skip the lines" and have a private guide, even though there wasn't a line to skip.
The said the tour was an hour, but it was only 25 mins, They told us barely any information, and we had to stop at benches because our guide had a sore knee. It was only after we left we realised those people weren't official.
We had lunch, and then drove to this caco tasting place, where we had caco beans, and this hot caco drink before going home.
