Day 125: Gotta catch em all!

Today Dad and I went to the Intrepid Museum that was on a ship. The ship apparently picked up the American Astronauts that went into space.

We had signed yup for this free full day coding course, for 10-18 year olds. Even though it was a cody course, we did do any coding, at all. The first half ws them talking about jobs to find and what the other people wanted to work as. The second half was designing a NASA research dashboard, but we didn't even code it. In the lunch break, we had to research about chat GPT at length. It came with free entry into the museum.

After that, we explored the museum, and watched a really boring video (about the moon landing) and got souvenir coin #24. It was by far my least favourite. Only after I had bought it did I realise that it was a patriotic coin, and had the words "America always wins" and "we will fight for our country" and "We are the best" and stuff like that...

While we were there, mum and Maya were waiting in line for the new Pokemon store that opened that day, and boy was it busy, mum and Maya waited over 2 hours to get in and I managed to sneak in when mum came to the door, but dad wasn't allowed.

The good thing was that you got a free pack of Pokemon cards for downing this free collector app. You also got an exclusive NYC Pokemon shop grand opening playing card if you bought something.

After that, we had dinner at a Mexican restaurant, and went home.
