Today mum ran a 10km race around Governor island, and Maya, Dad and I went to an ice skating rink in Bryant Park. There, we had our very first smore, which is basically a toasted marshmallow in between biscuits, with melted chocolate on top.

After that, we walked down Broadway to a magic show. There were many tricks, but the last one confused me. This kid from the audience was asked to lie down on this table, and then he was just lifted into the air! As a reward he received a genuine fake $100 bill.

Another trick was at the start of the show. the magician handed a lady a kiwi fruit. Then towards the end, the magician's assistant was performing a trick where he pulled a handkerchief through his microphone stand. The problem was that his stand was wobbly. His solution was the ask someone in the audience for a $20 bill, and he made then write their name on it. The assistant put it under the microphone stand, and it stopped wobbling. After they performed the trick, they took the kiwi off the woman. They cut it open, and inside was the $20, with his name on it. Then as a reward he got a genuine fake $100 bill. Now that what I call interest.

I also got to feature in the show. They did this trick where they slid a sword through my neck, he asked to hear my scream, to know what it sounded like, just in case.

All these little girls at the back screeched as hard as they could, and I just said "ah". He said to do it better so I said "aah".

Then he said if I felt anything to scream, and I felt the sword hit my neck and said " aah". 2 attempts later he got the sword through, which obviously bended.

Now, I could keep rambling on about the other tricks, but for the sake of time and this post, I'm going to keep it at that.

PS. Unfortunately I didn't get a genuine fake $100 bill. The other person flew and got a reward, which should be a reward its self. i got my head chopped off and walked away with nothing...
