Today mum had to go to a conference, so Dad, Maya and I went to the Natural History Museum for visit #4, via the Watch house. It's funny our regular coffee place is 25 minutes walk away.

At the museum, we watched a movie about our Solar system, but it's mainly the same stuff we learnt in year 4. Tehn we went to the animals of North America exhibition, and we drew some of our favourite animals.

The next day, we went to this slime place called Sloomoo. Now, one thing you need to know about me, is that I HATE slime. Here is a list of what I didn't like:

  1. The first thing I didn't like is that you had to write down your name on your name tag in "Sloomooese". The way you did it was that you replaced every vowel in your name with "oo" eg Felix = Fooloo, Maya = Mooyoo, America = Oomooroocoo, slime = sloomoo.

  2. The second thing I didn't like was that you had to stick your hand in slime and put slime on the "slime wall"

  3. The third thing I didn't like was that you had to feel all the different types of slime. Dad told me yto my face to face my fears and stick my hands right in there. I ended up getting slime all over my hands, new t shirt, puffer jacket, and all. I sent ages trying to get slime off my hands.

  4. The fourth thing I didn't like is that you make your own slime to take home. You have to feel all the different types of of slime, to choose your favourite texture. Then, you had to smell all the different smells. Then you had to look at all these different colours and you had to blend them together. Great.

  5. The only thing I did like is that I didn't have to go in the "slime shower" which is where they dump a whole bucket of slime on top of your head.

  6. The final thing I didn't like was that you had to run barefoot through slime. The good thing was that just before that, there was this slime that wasn't wet. It was actually great slime....
