Today we went to the Natural History Museum again. We went to this exhibition with live butterflies. You weren't allowed to touch the butterflies, but I found a loophole. If I can't touch them, I'll let them come to me. I spent most of the time standing still with my arm stretched out, and at last managed to get one to land on my shoe.
Maya and I did a competition on who could take a photo of the best butterfly. There was a sign with all the species of butterflies, so I just took a photo of Maya's favourite from the sign, and cropped out the text.
The next exhibition we went to was the history of the universe. I already knew most of it, because in our spare time in the Cinque Terre, dad made us give the family a lesson about anything, and Mays did red pandas, and I chose the history of the universe.
After that we went the next exhibition, which was basically a room with videos.
The store had these animal tracking bracelets, and I got a dolphin, and Maya got a turtle.
We exited the museum and went to this Australian cafe (mum had no idea until we went, she picks all the food places). I had avocado toast and an "Aussie iced chocolate". I thought it was big, but it was nothing compared to the frozen hot chocolate I would have a few days later.
We also opened our bracelets my dolphin was called Bill, and he lived in the gulf of Mexico near Florida. Maya's title was called Tippy, she she wasn born in St Kitts and Nevis, but now lives off the coast of the Dominican Republic.
On the way home, we bought our Halloween costumes. Maya was terrified of mine, a black onesie with long fingers and glowing red eyes.
