3 (more) days on a boat ~ Days 99-101

Our boat was basically a hotel that floats. Our room looked exactly like a hotel room, and you couldn't feel the boat moving.

There was a buffet breakfast (which we only had one time as we woke up too early too many times) and a buffet breakfast and dinner (every second day). The first two days we were just going to temples, but not the third day.

In the morning we had to wake up super early again to go hot air ballooning. It took forever to get up, and it looks way scarier than it really is.

Your initial excitement goes away after a few minutes, and you're basically just standing there.

We landed in the middle of a muddy farm and we spent 20 minutes standing there whilst people moved the us in the basket. We couldn't get out because then the balloon would float away.

Mum was really annoyed when at the end they said "We have worked really hard to pull you through mud, and we would really appreciate a tip". Then a lady in high heels and makeup said "Sorry, I've got no money". Mum said "She didn't forget her selfie stick but she forgot her cash!"

After that we went to the valley of the kings, where we saw the three tombs. Then we went to another temple and drove to the airport. Mum wasn't sure how we would go to the Valley of the Kings, the temple, hot air ballooning before our flight leaving but we made it.

We arrived back in Cairo, checked into our hotel, and just relaxed until dinner and going to bed.
